Hi Mike
If you would tell us what your problem is with the holding tanks maybe we can save you a lot of work or solve the problem without removing the tanks.

Are your tanks draining? Is the problem your sensor reading having a problem. This is a standard problem with the sensor but no problem with the tanks.

Give us as much information as you can as to what the problem might be.

Problems are with sensors, leakage from the fresh water onto the liner, and grey tank leakage.

Mike are you sure your not just picking up water from the road ?? Have you been pulling in the rain?? I found water in under my water tank when I put on the disc brakes and it had been sitting inside for 4 months. Just a thought of where it could be coming from. The gray tanks are not easy to get at but the water tank is not bad to get to. Jon

My story..........Had bad odor problems (wife has asthma) we could not ignore last fall. Tried to have repaired at CW-Roanoke, VA (a whole book could be written on that goat ropin'). Ended up hurrying back to FL stix and brix (to avoid frozen pipes) for a more liesurely attempt to find a better repair agent. We did. RV SPECIALIST's IN FRUITLAND PARK, FL. The bathroom greywater tank had developed a leak. Grey water evidently had been leaking onto the fiberboard underlayment for quite some time. PEEEEUWEEEE!!! Bottom line...tanks are not easy to access and a rrreeaallyy bad smell is not always associated with the black water tank. Can't offer any fix....just our story.

Was the gray tank leak due to a loose fitting or was the tank wall actually compromised?

JONDAR......Tank had a crack in it at top where drain fitting drops into tank. Had too many medical things going on at time of fix to take pix. Info is from a very trustworthy technician. Hard to say how induced. More than likely a manufacturing defect. Can't believe that I've stressed any parts of the coach to have caused it. All travel has been main road, easy pulling (except for WV turnpike!) Hope that helps.

Hope your medical issues are gone. But it would have been interesting to see what/where the crack initiated at. Could have been a molded in stress riser and/or an overtightened drain connection. When it warms up around here and the snow melts, I'll be crawling in my basement so I'll get an eyeball on my tanks.

Thanks for all of your responses, have checked all issues mentioned. But it appears as if I'll have to at least pull the fresh tanks, if I can figure how much trouble they will be.
Thanks again.
