Water line leak ???

I made a modification and cut two water lines and plugged them. Now I need to band them, hose clamps will not work as the plastic is fairly stiff. Where do I get the bands and the crimping tool. How much does the tool cost ? Thanks

Lowes carries Apollo cinch clamps in a 10 pack for ~$7 and a tool for ~$35. that is what I use.

if you are only doing 2 clamps you can get by, by using a pair of end nippers to cinch the clamp

Home Depot carries ZERN and those tools are much more expensive.

you may want to check out shark-bit and Watt-quick connect for easy slid-on plugs that require no other tools.

What are you plugging them with? I think Lowes or Home Depot carry fittings for the pex line. I used them to reroute some water lines, they just compressed on no banding. I just can't remember what they are called. A RV place would have them as well.

hi ya'll
lowes and home depot have sharke-bites, if you mess with the piping this is the stuff to use.
