    Hum in the electric box

The junction box that all the main wiring comes into hums. You can hear it when you go up the steps. My wife has better hearing than I do and complains about it all the time. Is this normal for the box to hum? Today I took the top off of it, after unplugging of coarse, and found all the wires loose. Some of the screws had not been tightened at all. After tightening the wires it still hums. Any solutions?

Sometimes a humming sound is caused by an improper ground. Which can be hard to track down. Sorry I know this is not helpful. But you may need to trace all the wiring.

I don't know the layout of your Road Warrior, but on a lot of rigs, the converter is located behind the breaker box. Could be you hear that humming.

I called customer service this morning and they said some hum in the relay box was normal. I guess we will live with it.

It is likely the cooling fan in the coverter that you are hearing.
