North Country at Rayford Crossing/Damaged

I met a man that just bought a new North Country on Tuesday. He said he loved it and has had little trouble with it. I came back last night and noticed that his awning had been torn off in a windstorm that had blown through. They left the park this morning before I had a chance to talk to him again.

I did give him a Heartland contact card and he said he would join the forum and possibly the club.

Jay,,he learned his first RVing lesson. Never leave your awning out if leaving camp or going to bed.

Yep, and it'll be an expensive lesson.

If he has insurance, it's a $100 lesson. BTDT.

Here's hoping he has insurance. They left the next morning, so I didn't have a chance to talk to him again. I noticed that there was no apparent body damage on his trailer and yesterday when walking by the site, I found a broken mount that had sheared off. Even if he has to buy a new awning, there were no holes in his aluminum skin to deal with.
