I'm leaving Redding around 1:00 or so on Thursday. (I have to work a half day) We're going 44/89/395 as the road is good with minimal long pulls except for the Shingletown and Old Station Grades. Anyone that wants to go a little later in the day is welcome to go with us, or we'll watch for you as we travel. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Dang!! I have to be in Sparks and all set up by 1pm. Sarah has to see the doc and I am either watching Paige or going with Sarah. It would have been fun to follow you guys down the road.

Update: For the Welcome Get-together on Friday night, snacks/munchies will be provided. Just bring yourselves! I don't know the time. :D John will be arriving on Wednesday...so, look for him to get the schedules of events.

Also..You don't have to bring a gift to donate for this rally!

Just plan on having a great time... :) See you all there!

I want to post my thanks to Jim Dawson and all of the leadership involved in the Sparks, Nevada Western Regional Rally last weekend. I ESPECIALLY WANT TO THANK HEARTLAND FOR ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE RALLY in paying for 1) The meat (Tri Tip and Chicken) at the potluck, 2) Buffet dinners at the Eldorado Hotel Casino, 3) Show tickets to the Illuminare show at the Eldorado, 4) Gift raffle prizes for everyone. If you multiply this out for two people in a rig, Heartland gave out almost twice the cost of a 3 year owner's club membership (I finally joined up over the weekend) just at this one rally.
We had a great time socializing, enjoying the Reno/Sparks area, and the nearby fireworks we could easily watch from the RV park on the 4th.
Let's do this again - Maybe Las Vegas next September???

Hi Bill,

Glad you had a great time at the rally! Sponsorship of the regional and my larger North American rally are important to Heartland. It's a sort of "give back / thank you" to product owners. Same can be said of the dozens of chapter rallies all across North America each year.

Gail and I want to thank John Dawson and Heartland for the rally in Sparks, NV over the 4th of July, we certainly enjoyed everything. The tri-tip and chicken provided for the pot-luck were excellent and the cooks should be complimented. The prizes donated by Heartland after the dinner was certainly a nice surprise. The buffet dinner and show at the El Dorado was one of the highlights of the rally and very much appreciated. The fireworks observation site at the RV park was a good end to a very enjoyable rally. We are looking forward to next years Pacific Regional Rally.
