Rear Hitch on our Landmark Grand Canyon

We have just bought a 2011 Heartland Grand Canyon. I want to put a rear hitch on it to pull a 14' cargo trailer. We had a 1998 Golden Falcon with a rear hitch would it fit on this new rig? Also is their some place I could buy a ready built hitch for our new rig and just have a local welding shop put it on?

Welcome to the Heartland family. Looks like you have been a member of the forum for quite a while. But glad you decided to become an active member.

I don't know of any place that you can buy a ready made hitch for your Grand Canyon. You will probably just need to have welder make the one you have work. But also when you do mount a hitch you will be voiding your warranty on the frame.

Not to mention that would be an awfully long set up

Best be watching the max length in many states.........I for one would never pull another trailer behind a 5er or any living trailer, the frames are NOT designed for it and voids most warranties.

Also creates an over loaded condition on the trailer suspension. And possible light pin weight.
