Those are the two floorplans I have been considering. Initally I was sold on the 3950 bc it has an area in the garage to tuck away a combo w/d with room to stack a smaller frig on top. The wife isn't a big fan of having the w/d in the bedroom closet. I also really like the 1/2 bath in the garage. What I didn't like was the smaller living room. A couple of months later, Heartland came out with the 3800. It still has the 1/2 bath that I want, but no area in the garage to tuck away a w/d and frig. But it has a HUGE living area! The 3800 also has wood rails for the loft, which, in my opinion, is much safer for the kid. I have seen both floorplans in person and the size of the living area for the 3800 is amazing! We weighed the pros and cons of each floor plan and have decided on the 3800. You just need to figure out which floorplan works best for you.
