Lake Tahoe-Rain & Snow

At the Zephyr Cove RV Resort with only 12 other campers. Raining as we write, with snow forecasted for tonight and into Monday 6/6/11. Have not spotted any other Heartlands on the way here from Reno, except on a dealers lot. Three months ago, our site #159, was buried in 15' of snow. Summer very late showing up in the Tahoe Basin. Happy camping to all.

I hope the people who control the flow of the rivers out there do a better job of allowing for all that snowfall than they did on the Missouri this year. Looks like they must have forgot to draw the reservoirs down enough in the winter and now they are trying to save their towns and cities.
