The two flaps go between the porch railing and the back corner of you rv , one on each side . The velcro straps go around the aluminum tubes and theres a slot just inside the back door that the flap hooks into ,that covers the gap between the porch railing and the back of your rv so small kids or the four legged ones can't get out.
