Jim,

You can count on it! We had an excellent time and are very eager to try to work out the logistics to attend the Goshen rally. We will see how things go, could be very fun! I am eager to rally alongside my parents :)
Zack and Kelsea,

Nancy and I love your parents so I was thrilled to have a chance to meet you guys! You're going to make great memories with your North Trail and you've already become an asset to the forum and the club. Coming to rallies and learning more about your coach, helping others with issues and mods, making friends is all part of the "good times". Thank you for your North Trail purchase and we hope to see you down the road, somewhere on the rally trail.

Overall, Kelsea and I's first rally was a success! We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We will definitely be attending every rally we possibly can. Who knows maybe we can help attract a broader spectrum of "ralliers." I think their is a stigma out there that people our age cannot enjoy these types of things. I think we can prove that to be incorrect! We had a blast. Thank you everyone for being so welcoming and so helpful with your tips and suggestions. We really appreciate the above and beyond support we were shown for my service in the military. I really do, do what I do for all of you. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have a job.

A really nice rally, at a really nice park, great Heartland comradeship - I even got to visit with "Comrade Jim B.!!!

Enough can't be said about Guaranty RV of Junction City, and their "over the top" support of this rally. The barbecue steaks were huge and delicious, nice door prizes from them after eating. Guaranty gave us a spiel on their sales capabilities, but for got to mention their EXTENSIVE service and parts operations.

Saturday night a TERRIFIC dinner in the Casino Convention Center the next night. Lots of great Heartland Supplied, really nice, doorprizes after that dinner, too! Between the two Pacific Regional Rallies I have attended, I have gotten back the cost of my Heartland Owners Club 3 years dues twice over already.

On the down side, I had power to my refrigerator and interior lights short out (the LED is lit on the panel) on the trip back into the Sacramento Valley in the 100 degree plus heat. Much worse, I was 30 miles from home after crossing major mountain passes towing 8 tons in the heat, when I stopped to add a little fuel, and the water pump blew out the coolant when I stopped. Sunday evening, again, of course. Thank goodness for Good Sam ERS and their covered big rig tow. There was no one at the repair shop, so I tried to sleep in the trailer, but I didn't feel safe and it was 96 degrees inside at 10 oclock. I am now at the Motel 6 in Woodland, and the truck should get fixed today.

Addendum: Truck was fixed, got trailer to the storage yard and unloaded it. While the truck was being repaired I troubleshot the wiring/refrigerator short down to the P.C. board on the refrigerator. I looked the replacement up on the Dinosaur Electronics website, but could not find that part in stock locally or online thru Tweety's.(Dinosaur no longer sells retail). I did a Google search on the part number and found RV Cooling Unit Warehouse who had it in stock, offered 1 day shipping, and sells the Dinosaur boards at about 45% off of list price.

But to cap the "eventful" weekend, I got home and found my home refrigerator had quit working.

This was our first rally & Barbara & I were very impressed. John, Lori & their leaders & volunteers did a GREAT job. All the food & fellowship were excellent. We enjoyed meeting so many happy people. We had such a good time we became members & are checking the events calendar to see when we can sign up for another rally. Thanks everyone for a very enjoyable weekend.

Well, I think it's all been said. Just a great rally in a great place with some great people and lots of great food. Yup, this was a 5 star event. If you missed it, oh my. The level of the bar has been raised. Great job John and all those who assisted you.

We had a really good time at Seven Feathers and will surely go back to camp there again. It was pretty hot though so those who were heading to the coast had a good idea!

Now I'm starting to the plan the Oregon Chapter Rally for next year. Check out my new thread to join that discussion.

Hi Everyone
Lori and I left Canyonville yesterday. We stayed longer to visit friends that were still there. We were going to stay in Redding overnight, but when we heard it was 110, we decided to go home on the coast. We are at Brookings, Oregon and it was 75 yesterday. Didn't even have to use the air conditioner!! We are going to extend our stay for 4-5 days. Today we are going to Gold Beach, Oregon.

The Canyonville Rally was a success in many ways including signing up four to five new members to our club.

It sure was nice seeing Jim and Nancy Beletti. It was a long way for them to come, but it is always nice to see them again. Jim and Nancy are always so helpful and very caring to all of us in the Heartland Family. Thank you Jim and Nancy for your support!

We all enjoyed Henderson Lineup! They gave us some great information and gave us so much time to check our rigs. If we had a problem and we were nearby, we would sure go to them!

Guaranty RV Sales Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Friday night dinner that was supplied by Guaranty was delicious and very thoughtful.

The dinner at 7 Feathers Casino was absolutely outstanding!

Thank you Christy and Mark and to all of our Heartland members that were so helpful in making this Rally so successful. All of you made it so much easier for me!! Sure was nice seeing all of you again.

Thank You

Hi--

Just wanted to add our thanks to all who were involved in presenting this rally. This was also our first rally, and we had a great time!! We'll be looking forward to the next one--may even try for Goshen next year.

We had a great time!! Little Paigey is sold on rally life....good food and lots of people to talk to. Many thanks to the guys at Henderson's for the suspension inspection. Robert uncovered an issue that looked fairly minor but when I got it into Safari in Redding, it turned out to be kind of serious. There are bent and twisted suspension parts and it is looking like the whole thing will have to be taken apart and put back together. Thank goodness it didn't happen on the road!

Glad you made it to Redding OK. Too bad the problem is worse than we thought though. That just means the trailer will already be half way to Westfir!

Gail and I really enjoyed the rally, good location, good weather, good company, and good food. Everything was great. We look forward to the next regional rally.
The complimentary inspection by Henderson was great and the new trailer display by Guaranty was very good. Guaranty RV went out of their way to provide an excellent steak and chicken BBQ with all the side dishes followed by a large number of door prizes. The catered dinner provided by Heartland on Saturday night was outstanding. Thank you John and Lori and all the chapter leaders for making this a great rally, and we look forward to the next one.

Marybeth,

It was nice meeting you! Sorry to hear about the suspension. I sure hope you have better luck with that Landmark soon.

You know this is kinda weird. My wife and three grandson's and myself arrived at Seven Feathers Monday afternoon the 13th...As we were taking our evening stroll,I comentented "there sure are alot of Bighorn's here". We got home friday the 17th and I checked the forum on a hunch.Sure enough. There was a reason for all the Bighorn's..Oh well, Guess I should log on once in awhile. LoL We were in 148 way down on the southwest end...Very nice park.

Too bad you didn't know. When in doubt, check it out! There were still several people there, so just stroll by and ask what's going on. You missed the big event, but could have dropped in for some post rally fun.

Keep an eye out for upcoming rally plans. I have a camp out in Oct. and I'm planning a rally for next summer. It will probably be at Winchester Bay in June. You can find events by looking at the Events tab at the top of the page. Discussions of events still in the planning phase are usually in the chapter section of the forum.

Travel Safe and hopefully you can join us some time.

Great rally and nice to see lots of people we haven't seen in a while and to meet some new ones, even though we had to leave on Saturday. It was nice to see everyone and thanks to John & Lori and Kristy and Mark for all their hard work. Thanks to Jim B for speaking to us about our hydraulic landing gear.
