I'm going to add a leaf to each pack to increase rate slightly.

When loaded, the leafs are starting to bent negative and it is my opinion that you don't run 3500# springs on an axle that rarely weighs under 6900#.

At the shop now trying to get motivated....:p

There was enough clearance to mount the shocks outboard. This is always preferred as it gives them more leverage to control sway and wheel hop. I wanted to use a heavier valved shock like the 6400 series RV KYB since they are setup for a 5k+ lb axle weight, but I was afraid it would break the cheasy I-beam frame rail it was hooked to......

Cutting, drilling and arching the material to match the OE main leafs. One more leaf should give me an extra 1k lb. capacity per spring. Obviously, I wouldn't use this capacity as it's just there for stabilty:

All finished....ended up with 5/8" lift and more stability. Can't wait to load it up and see how nice it rides.

Bonus project....Battery mount and dedicated AGM battery under the the garage for devices that get run back there. It will serve to keep toy batteries charged off solar, run my HAM radios, and future dedicated garage/outdoor entertainment system without the need for 4 ga. wire run to the rear:

Thanks! I try to do things as clean as possible....

The EZ Flex has 1/8"+ of movement in the rocker pivot bushing. They had grease in them, they were just all wallowed out.

You are a little far away.....but now that I know where everything goes, it would be quicker next time!
