Landmark - Waster Water Systems - Gate valve heat tape

Getting ready for our January ski trip to Breckenridge, CO. We've had to deal with temps down to 20 and 30 below zero (F) on past trips.

At those temps, the gate valves freeze. So this year I'm adding heat tape designed for the gate valves by UltraHeat.

Just finished building the control box with fuses and switches for each valve. Hope to get it all installed this week.

Operation is to switch a heater on for 5-10 minutes before operating the valve which hopefully let me manage the tanks without regard to weather.

Located it on the ceiling of the basement, behind the UDC, just inside the access panel. My access panel is hinged on the bottom, and held closed by a bungee cord, so I can easily reach the switches and fuses.

Heat tape:
UltraHeat GV15A for gray valves
GV30A for Black tank valve.
Switches are UltraHeat System Switch Pack, 3-gang w/ Lighted Switches.
Fuse holders, buss bars, enclosures and wire from Fry's Electronics and Home Depot.

10 gauge stranded wire for main 12V and ground connections to coach fuse box.
14 gauge stranded wire for individual circuit connections.
