First make sure the outside shower valves are turned off. Not just the handle with the push button, but the valves on the faucet. If on, it will allow the water to mix, creating a cooler "hot" water.

The label on the water heater tank should tell you its capacity. Larger rigs typically have a 12gallon unit.

I Have A 2017 Mallard I Cant get my water heater to Fire on LPG unless I do It manually Any Troubleshooting ideas Works fine on Electric

Pete J, up at the top of the page is the "Tools" tab. Under the tab is this section:

Heartland Owners Manuals

Click on "tools", then "plumbing", then "water heaters". Find your brand or use the "troubleshooting" section.
