Heater question

What is the opinion about running the heater with the slides in? I have one vent under the small livingroom slide. All my other 5th wheels had the vents in the middle of the coach. Will this cause a high heat problem? Thanks Doug

I would think that as long as you have several other vents and that one was not totally blocked you should be alright. Most furnaces require 24-36 sq inches of venting and if you have the standard 2x10 vents with at least 2 open 3 would be better, I would not be concerned. The one covered can probably still move air just it will be under the slide and can come out the ends.

Just make sure you are not venting to the outside...don't want to contribute to global warming now ...you should be fine I have done this many times before but I make sure to block the vent off with one of those vent blockers
