ATF: MPG - Retro Fit a Fantastic Fan

I'd like to replace the existing fan in my 2011 MPG 183 with a more powerful Fantastic Fan. It requires a 14" x 14" opening, which the factory models appears to be as well.

#1 - could you confirm that it is a 14" x 14" opening

#2 - will I have any issues substituting this fan in regards to it's electrical requirements, or anything else?

Thanks!

1. The standard opening is 14 by 14 but take off the trim piece of your current fan and measure the opening on your rig. You can see the framing once the trim is removed.

2. There should be no problem with power. I have not seen a thread with that concern. But again you can test it yourself. Unhook current Fan's electrical us some spare cord and run power down to the new fan and do temp hookup. Run the fan through its paces and see if it pops any fuses.

I think the only issue will be that you will not have a thermostat to operate it. It will have to be a manual fan. Unless of course you dont care if the wires are exposed.
