Will Guardian or War-Lok work with lube plate??

I was in the process of ordering a War-lok for my new Bighorn when I realized you might not have enough clearance for the lock to fit on with the teflon lube plate installed. I called a War-lok dealer and he didn't think you could install it with the lube plate in place. Do'es anyone know if this is an issue ? I would like to use the War-loc or the Enforcer or maybe the Master 387.
Thanks, Jeff

You have a very good question. On the big rigs, they just grease the fifth wheel plate. The war-loc is made for the 18 wheel trailer (same size pin). In my case, I use a teflon plate and I had to modify the war-loc a little to make it work. All that needs to be done is to grind a little off the pin that slides inside the lock. A five minute job with the air grinder. It is a great lock. The handle is nice also to keep the grease off the hands.
