Hi j.courtoreille,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge.

We have a Tools tab at the top of the page and there are lots of user guides there. Most made and submitted by folks that actually use the units,,, owners. You might check there, and maybe one of our other members will jump in with some help. If nothing soon, you might call Heartland Customer Service and ask for some help, don't think they will send a complete diagram.

You might give us a little more info on the problem your having also.

Hi j.courtoreille,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum. There's lots of useful information here along with a great bunch of friendly and helpful people who are quick to share their experience.

Sometimes difficulties draining the black tank is due to buildup of solids in the bottom of the tank. It's also possible that if you have a slow leak at the valve, that it's causing a buildup of solids. We have an owner-written Water Systems Guide that has detailed help on this problem. Here's a link. The information you want begins on page 19. There's also a generic diagram of the water system on page 6.

If you actually need more precise information about the location of your waste tanks, call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready.
