Asking all if they know of a lift system that can be installed on rear of 2011 landmark Rushmore? What is the frame rated for as far as load bearing goes. I want to haul a Harley Street Glide apps 900 lbs on the lift. The only lifts I found are about 400lbs? Thanks in advance.

A few months back I saw a new Landmark with a large hydraulic lift platform on the rear, but he had 3 axles. Not sure a 2 axle rig would carry the load. Have you looked at the option of an Idaho Tote? http://idahotote.com/

The frame is "rated" by Lippert for their 1-1/4" receiver hitch carrying a couple of bicycles - nothing more.

Another consideration is the axles, wheels and tires. 1300 extra pounds close to the rear axle may cause problems with those components even if your frame survives.

Howdy!

I agree with the Idaho Tote. I had one one my previous 5er that I carried a Yamaha Rhino and then a Smart Car on. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. We used it for seven years fulltiming before our new Cyclone 4000 we just purchased in April.
