Some pics of the office. The one of my leg squished under the desk is attempting to use a dining chair to sit on. Need a shorter chair!

I say modify for all purpose room. Commode with cushion top to use for chair. Covered sink when used for desk. Cabinets used for office stuff, food, or both.

Desk height should be standard. Someone use the wrong tape measure?

Duane, I don't know. I'm tall, 5'8", and I don't think my legs are overly fat!

I guess I should have measured, but didn't think of it.

It's probably because of the drawer, the countertop is probably the right height.

Or just make the desk and cabinet about 6 inches taller!

I would be claustrophobic in that "office" - I agree a better use would be a pantry or closet.

"Standard" desk height runs between 28 to 32 inches depending on whose recommendations you go by.

Anything is better than another bathroom to clean! If I had that as an office room, I think the first thing I would do would be to remove the door.
