We too have used Rotochoks for many years...wouldn't be without them. Have found nothing more secure for "chocking" the wheels!! And yes, they are lighter than the rachet type, and are very simple to install and remove...even I can do it! It's got to be easy!! LOL

After hearing about people dropping their 5ers onto the back of their trucks I bought and installed a Blu Ox bedsaver that catches the pin if it ever slides out of the hitch. Some guy called pops claimed that his didn't hold up when he dropped his but when I looked at his pictures, it didn't look like it was installed right. After installing mine I checked mine out by backing under it and raising the landing gear a couple of inches and I couldn't see any flex at all, if I had I figured I would brace it up. Thanks for the tip about appling the trailer brakes when hooking up and unhooking.
