small holes in awning---glue??

Hi everyone,
We have a few very small holes in our awning. They are too small to put awning tape on. I was thinking about putting a drop or two of super glue on them to stop them from spreading. Has anyone tried super glue on the awning---will it "eat through" the material? Is there something else out there that would stop the small holes from spreading?
thanks

Recommend you find some of the adhesive they sell for air-filled mattress or inner tubes. The glue is designed for use w/similar materials as the awning and will remain somewhat flexible after it dries. Expect super glue would end up eating up the material. Super glue also dries hard, so it would likely cause tearing around the outer edge of the glue seams.
