Extra water drain lines?

I have a Greystone 32RL 5th wheel trailer. I was under the RV yesterday and noticed something I had not noticed before.

There is one red and one blue drain line, tied together, right beside the doorside front wheel. Both have a valve similar to the fresh water tank drain valve.

I have reviewed the User Guide in the Tools section but do not see where these two drains are discussed.

What are the used for and which system do they service?

Those are low point drains.
Red for hot water lines and blue for cold water.
Heartland has since discontinued those low point drains due to freezing up in cold weather.

Peace

So, were they supposed to be used to totally drain the water system (other than the holding tanks)?

Well yes, kinda. In theory that is what they were designed to do when winterizing but I feel that RV anti-freeze is the best.
Had em on my first BH don't have them on my current rig.
Don't miss them.

Peace
Dave
