slideout only moves one side.

The door side slider on my 09 cyclone only moves the rear slide track ( the one where the hyd cylinder is mounted) it doesnt even try to move the other track. I have to push the slide in and out by hand on the front side. There is only one cylinder on the slide. So im wondering what mechanizem operates the other track. A cable or a shaft across with a rack and pinion or what ??? Thankyou.

On most, as the ram moves, a rack and pinion setup rotates a shaft with another rack and pinion. The racks and pinions keep both sides moving at the same rate. Sounds like that's where your problem will be found.

Look and the gear itself and make sure the "drift pin" that holds the gear to the shaft is still in place. Might have broken or fell out.
