Air Conditioner

I have a 2014 North Trail 33tbud.
My A/C unit in the main area has ben freezing up recently and has not done so in the past.
Someone mentioned to me that here may be wires on the inside coil to prevent freezing that may have come loose.
Can someone describe what wires he may be talking about?
I see a red loose wire when I open the area to clean the filter. I thought that was the thermostat wire?

The "wire" that keeps it from freezing isn't really a wire. It's a small metal tube that runs from the control box where the thermostat and power wires join. This tube should be pushed into the fins of the evaporator so it can tell how cold it's getting.

On some units, there is a thermistor with 2 wires on it that clips on a tube on the end of the evaporator about midway, it could've come loose. Also, if you are in a high humidity area and have the fan on low, it can/cause it to freeze up. Don't open the rig up in the morning, then close it up and turn the A/C on, you just letting the moisture back in for the A/C to remove.
