Also dremald out the grooves in the shower door track would have done a better job with a longer bit.

Just found these shovel racks from etrailer PK-23
I ordered a set to mount in the ceiling of my basement, to hold my broom, and my 2 extendable poles for the RV washing brush and that new slide seal pole. I'll let you all know how it turns out as soon as I get them in.
I was going to make my own but I'm taking the easy route. And I like the rubber inserts.

Today I installed a new product that is not out to the public just yet. I was one of the lucky few chosen to do some product testing for this company. "Thanks Jim". The product is called RV SnapPad. They are a rubber pad that snaps on to the bottom pads of the level up jacks, to give you good stability and grip on even or uneven ground surface's, dirt, gravel, concrete, or asphalt. The company sent me 6 of them to tryout on Project LM365. They look sharp and should work well in all conditions. Best part is they stay on the RV all the time. I don't have to remove and store them when we traveling.
If anyone one is interested you will have to wait a bit longer. I will let you all know when they release them.

Interesting. I am interested as my level up pads leave rust marks on my home site. Only good thing is I know exactly where to stop when parking. Lol

Looks good. How do they snap into place and can you still use leveling blocks that sometimes you need to to avoid out of stroke?

They have a lip that the pad pops into, I used a bit of soapy water and the weight of the coach to get them to pop in.
And ya you could use all the blocks you want under them and the rubber material would hold to the blocks better then the steel would have.

Ahh now I see the lip on them. I think the idea is a very good one and I would agree that they have better stay put potential than bare steel

I think they will work well in all situations. The only issue I see so far is holding water they my need to design a drain hole in the side of them. Or the truck wash is going to use a few towels getting all of that water out before I hit the highway again. I'm sure they will address that issues before they go into full production.

Love the Snap Pads Jerrod! I've had mine on for thousands of miles now and no issues with them at all thus far. No more deploying my Hoss Pads. Looking forward to your evaluation after a few camping trips.

More Mods and some redone
DW was having trouble opening the pantry doors next to the slide. I guess Heartland figured there might be a conflict with the fridge and or the slide hitting the knobs on these pantry doors. So they just left them off. I ordered 4 more knobs from Heartland.
I don't see any clearance issues and the pull out drawers seem to clear fine also.

This is the rest of the knobs so you don't tell me they don't match the ones over the fridge.

I change the wires on my batteries to make them pull the power from all of the batteries evenly also to charge them all properly. Also moved the solar charging wire directly to the batteries. It's not as pretty but it should work more efficiently.

I also put dielectric grease on the ground post and sprayed it with battery protectant.

This is a mod I did a long time ago. I never posted it because I'm not excited about how it looks. However it actually works so well and I have read treads with people trying to solve this problem. I looked all over trying to find the perfect one with no luck. I did try a few different ones and drilled a few holes I shouldn't have but ended up back with this one.
It has to be long enough to miss the handle on the propane door. I had a shorter one on and in the afternoon it would reach and work fine but in the morning it wouldn't reach the door. I tried a marine chrome one but it wouldn't hold in a light breeze.
This is the same one I used on my entry door.

I can tell you that "if" a slide just happens to catch a door knob while coming in, it will make said door 2 pieces.

I concur.

Jerrod - consider putting the travel latches on those pantry slide out drawers like I did. That way, the drawers will never bump the doors open during travel.

Sounds like you've been there done that. LOL
They are not even close 4" to 6" maybe I don't think it will ever be an issue. The biggest thing I think is the knobs marking up the fridge.
