Water heater not working on AC Power

Our water heater quit working on electric. It works on propane. Tried changing the element but that did not work. Checked the switch but it is good. Any suggestions?

A wire nut for one of the connections fell off on mine once. Check the wires behind the water heater...Don

Also check the wires on the Hi and Low limit switches.

Check for a small power switch on the unit inside the outdoor access panel.

I'm assuming that you have used the HW heater on electric before. Sounds like you've taken the electric heat element out, replaced it, and it's still not working. When you take the outside cover off, there should be black "panel" on the heater, there is a reset button on that black panel, and possibly if you push that it will start working again.

If you have a 50 amp rig, are both legs hot?? You could have a leg down.
