Enjoying Shasta-Trinity and Lake Shasta

My wife, Sheri and I had the privilege of spending several outing and a wonderful campground right on Shasta Lake Recently, the Antlers Marina and Resort acquired the RV Resort next door. The RV Resort offers sites for the small and large Rigs.

Any water left in the lake? Shasta lake is the Northernmost and largest reservoir on the statelong California Water Project.

Being the largest, with almost 350+ miles of shoreline, there was plenty of water. Antlers moves the docks down river at 90' down. Today they are about 140' down and the docks are at the Sugarloaf location. I can say we benefited from the publicity of the drought. The lake was empty this last summer. My son has a wake surf run of almost 20 to 30 minutes before just getting so tired he called it quits.

Don't get me wrong. This drought has been the worst I can remember.
