Hello. We purchased this Fifth Wheel last summer and are really enjoying it. We are interested in adding a washer/dryer combo and have seen other 33CK fifth wheels with Washer/Dryer hookups in the front bedroom closet. Ours does not have them unfortunately. Is it possible to add these hookups and is there a kit available to do so? Thank you

Hi jmulryan,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

If you don't have the washer/dryer prep you'll have to install the wall fixture that has the water faucets and drain, along with a dedicated 20 amp power circuit and outlet. And you'll have to run water lines and tie a drain line into your Gray #1 tank. You'll also want an overflow pan under the washer, along with a drain that spills overflow outside. It's a pretty big job.

You can buy some of these things from Tweetys or other online sources - here's a link. The wall fixture you may be able to order from Heartland Parts. Call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready. I doubt they would have it in stock, but they can probably order it for you from their supplier - or point you to the supplier.

Pex lines, PVC drain pipes, and electrical can all be obtained at your local hardware store.

If you decide to do this, perhaps you could document each step with pictures and share them so the next person has the benefit of your experience.

Thank you very much for the quick and detailed reply. This is very helpful.

I will be sure to document the washer/dryer installation if we decide to go forward, but it won't be until March or April 2016 as the camper is now in winter storage. (even though we haven't had any real winter yet in Western NY)
