Mallard M29 TV

I am scheduled to pickup a new M29 tomorrow. I'm new at this, so this may be a dumb question. Are they suppose to come with a TV? I thought I read that was included, but my sales rep just told me it wasn't. Is that true or just a way for them to make more money?

Hi Larrysnyder,

Congratulations on the new Mallard and welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Here's a link to the HeartlandRVs.com website page for the M29. The list of standard features doesn't seem to mention a television.

You are better off to buy your own TV, anyway.

You can buy a much better TV yourself for half the price that you would get charged for one from your dealer or the factory.

I bought both Vizio LED TV's for our trailer for $300 . . . you'd pay more than that for one that is not as nice of a TV to have it included at purchase.

Got one at Best Buy . . . the other at the Walmart right next door.

Ha! I'm laughing at myself right now. I saw TV and thought for just a second Tow Vehicle. Also, usually you can buy a larger TV that fits in the same space for a lot less. I replaced our not so nice 46 with a really nice feature loaded 50 inch smart TV. Put the 46 in the house.
