John,

Very nice job on the modifications you've done. I often thought there should be side turn signals. Sure will help in heavy highway traffic when your attempting to merge into the next lane.

The LED Lights will sure improve the visibility both day and night driving.

Thanks for your post and the photos... you'll sure to get lots of comments on them.

Nice job looks good I changed all the lights on my Bighorn to LED also and added side turn lights. They really help when changing lanes. Love the high mounted turn lights how hard was it to get the turn light wires up the back?

Yes, I did change the two marker lights at the top of the rear cap.
That was the simplest of the mods.
Just pulled out the tail light and the top marker light. Fed a stiff wire through the hole where the marker was mounted down through one of the holes where the tail lights are mounted. Tied on an additional wire and pulled it back up. This is the third wire you'll need to convert to a stop/tail/turn light. Hooked it up to the stop/turn wire at the back of the tail lights. Everything worked really well and the whole project took less than 30 minutes.

Nice job. I am going to do something similar when my trailer arrives. I was wondering how you wired up your side turn signal because on my last one the brake light activated it also, something I don-t really want to happen.
thanks,
Gerry

Yes the brakes do activate it also. This comes from the tow vehicle being factory wired.I don't know any way of disabling the stop/turn function of my TV to make it work the other way.I can deal with the stop lamp function to be able to get the turn signal function

So now the high clearance lights do three jobs?........they light when the lights come on..........they light for turns..........they light for brakes...... I'm not clear as you can tell. Or did you disconnect the clearance wire and just connect the turn/brake wire?
