Differences between 2015 Model and 2016 Model

I am in the process of finalizing my purchase of a new 2016 landmark 365 Ashland and noticed a few items that have me confused.
Lack of aluminium Awning covers
Lack of Aluminium Steps
Foam Mattress instead of Pillow top.

Was there a point in the build year that these options became standard?

From what I've seen the Aluminum steps are now standard I believe the Aluma-guard Awning covers are an option

We have an early production of '16 Ashland that did not come with the aluminum steps. We WISHED we had them; hate the heavy black ones that are painful on hot sunny days when you're barefoot...and they look unsightly even 6 months after buying. We will be looking into an install soon.

I did the aluminum step upgrade and love them, they are way better and more stable then the steel ones were.
I put the carpets on the top 3


Just had to do a little grinding to be able to fold them up with the carpet on the 2nd step


I had to cut the notch out a little bigger on the very top step, so it would fold up with the 2 carpets together
