ATF: North Trail - Awning motor

We have a 2010 North Trail 28BRS. There's a 1/2 inch diameter gear on the awning motor that broke and needs to be replaced. We took it to the RV store here, but they need the part number to order it. We are not in the same city as the trailer so we can't check the motor for the serial number. I believe the brand of awning is Carefree of Colorado. Can someone help?

You might call HL service and ask them. Have your VIN# handy. Better yet, you might call Carefree and ask them. Their might be phone #'s on the inside of a cupboard door of your rig. I have heard or read the some electric awning motors are a GM window motors. What gear is broken?? The one on the motor??

Do a google search of (carefree electric awning parts list) then click on Images and see if you can find yours ? there is so many different ones on there.
