Wire Gauge Side Out

Does anyone know the wire gauge for a sundance 3600qb master bedroom slide out? The plastic strap that holds the wire harness under the slide broke loose and was grinding on the trailer tire. I need to replace the small section of wire but not sure what exactly the wire gauge is. I do not see any markings and it appears to look like 10 gauge. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Heartland as well as other manufactures use many different sizes of wire for different applications in these coaches.
Since we don't know what your worn wire is used for I suggest that you cut out the bad area and take the piece to your local hardware store or big box building center and they should be able to match the size for you.

A electric slide should not be using anything small than 14 to 12 ga wire. Might even be 10 ga. I would do as Dave suggested.

Thank you gents, it was indeed a 14 gauge wire. The wires have been replaced and a new Flexguard RV Slide Out kit is on the way.
