Maiden Voyage 2017 22FBS Caliber

It was a fantastic nine years with our 2009 21FBS, with many camping trips. We lost a fender in South Dakota, the only major thing that happened.

We are the proud owners of a 22FBS. The couch, additional floor space, appearance, the great appointments offered by the Caliber package, and that it is a Heartland made the decision easy.

Our first trip was to Frankenmuth, the camper was a tad squirrely so will have to make adjustments. It was cold and rainy, and it did snow but all was well inside. Our dog enjoyed the table. LOL

Two minor problems cropped up, the break away switch broke, and a hinge came off one of the cabinets. I am fairly sure I can easily fix both.

Over all a great first time out!!!

Congratulations on your new "condo on wheels". And what a nice looking set up. We down south do wish to see some of the moisture in that we are soooo dry. Enjoy and safe travels.
PS - the dog looks real happy with his new head rest.

Thank you for the kind responses. Yes, the pooch loves the chinrest. LOL The park was not busy, but that was fine. It was great to get out. Thank you for the info on the Michigan HOC rally. If our schedule permits, we will check it out. It looks like they are planning on going to Traverse City. We camped at the KOA just outside of TC. It was very nice. We toured quite a few of the local craft beer breweries. Well, actually almost all of them LOL. Very impressed with Short's, Stormcloud, Right Brain, and Rare Bird. We normally plan our camping trips so we can not only enjoy this beautiful state, but partake in the booming craft beer pubs. :)

Again, thank you for the kind responses.

Hope to see you on the road next year!
