Announcement!!!!

Are you all getting excited about our upcoming Rally yet?! Well...guess what? We're having a very special guest coming all the way from Illinois, to join us!! And he is....(****drum roll****...)... our one & only......Jim Beletti...!!!! YES, can you believe it?!!

The plans for our rally is now in motion and it'll be a Halloween Theme! John & Shirley (HappyT) has graciously offered to provide the paper plates, napkins & forks for both our Appetizer & Dinner Potlucks. They are also including a Halloween Commemoratiive Melamine dinner plate for each of us to keep as a memento!

Lets make this a special event!!!

Shirley is already thinking of how she wants to add a few Halloween decorations to the 5th wheel. Just a little bit!!

I have cook books called "Gross Goodies" and "Gross Grub". I've never really tried anything but the Cat Litter Casserole so I may have to try something new!! and Halloweenish. I did find a Halloween shirt to wear also. Really looking forward to meeting everyone.

ONE additional space available for Rally, Oct 10-13

Jackson Rancheria RV park now has ONE additonal RV space available for our Rally. If you are interested, please email or post here on the Thread. We already have 14 spaces filled and having Jim Beletti joining us as our special guest!

HappyT - I have your brother-in-law and wife on my waiting list. I also now have a space reserved for them, please let me know ASAP if they are still interested in joining us. If not, I can give this space to someone else.

YEAH... some of us are looking forward to meeting him! Ohh, there'll be LOTS of food, I've got 2 Potlucks planned and bringing extra. Hey, why don't you come out and join us?! I've got one open space left. It'll end a few days before your rally in Pachenga and you'll have plenty of time to make it back. Art & I are planning to be down there in Pachanga next April for an RV rally with our old group, maybe we can plan another Heartland rally there around the same time too!

Teresa, we will probably have a rally in April like this year. Has your gang ever thought of Vail lake instead?? It's about 15 minutes from Temecula and really a pretty place. Enjoy your rally, maybe we can get "crash" to come up and join you. BTW, did J.B. get you a banner?? If he did make sure everybody sign's it. You know what, a Calif rally and about 5 month's to plan it. WOW, what a great idea, thanks. Bob

Hi Bob,

That would be great if you have a rally next April, we can try to make it as long as it's close to the dates of the other rally. The person who is hosting that RV rally did all the planning and the dates are already set for Pechanga. They are our "old" group, meaning we are now SOB's since we purchased our new Bighorn, but since we used to be members, we can still attend their rallies. I just talked with Jim B. and Larry on the phone and they're having a BLAST at the Vegas rally. Larry, or should I say "Crash" will be joining us now! Deb (Slmayor), who did the Nor/Ca spring rally will be brining her banner for us to use (it's already been signed by their group). Jim said he didn't have any extra ones.... but, I'll bug him to see if he can get us another new one.

It would be great if we can get the Central & Southern Calif groups together for a Rally! No problem for us to drive to So Calif. We used to always go to Chula Vista RV Resort (we love it there) and thats a long drive for us!

Update! One space available!

One person isn't able to make it to the Rally, so we have ONE space available again. If someone is interested, I need to know by Tuesday, Sept 30th. If this space is not filled by then, Jackson Rancheria will release this space to someone else. You can email me if interested and I will need your first & last name to confirm your reservation!

RALLY AGENDA for Oct 9 - 13

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all getting excited! We're just over a week away from the Rally and here's the Agenda.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have to cancel your reservation, PLEASE let me know by Monday, Oct 6th. Sorry...I will not be responsible for paying for your reservation if you cancel after this date. I haven't heard from some of you in a few weeks since you signed up, so could you please send me email to confirm that you're still attending the Rally. We need our final head count and Jim B. will be making each of you a Heartland rally name tag.

Looks like we've got a good turnout with 15 RV sites filled! We're excited and looking forward to meeting new friends and having a great time! We will have nice Fall weather with crisp mornings, beautiful days and cool evenings.

FRIDAY:

3pm check-in.

5pm- Come pick up your name tags from me, so we'll know that you've checked in. If the Heartland banner isn't up, look for our '3370RL Bighorn' and dark blue Ford F350.

Free evening to explore the RV park, swim in their beautiful pool, sit in the spa or take a ride to the Casino with free shuttle service from the RV park. Or bring your chairs to gather around for a meet/greet/get acquainted, chat & relax out on the lawn.


Halloween Theme for our Rally!

SATURDAY:

Social hour - 4pm - meet outside on the lawn. Bring your own drinks.

Appetizer Potluck- 5pm Please bring an Appetizer (Hors D'oeuvres) dish to share with everyone. Bring your favorite drink, bottled water will be supplied.

50/50 Raffle - tickets sell 1/$1.00, 6/$5.00, 13/$10.00 50% collected goes to winner, 50% helps fund Rally expenses.

Game - For EACH person that would like to participate, please bring a gift worth at least $10. (NEW...nothing used, please), place it in a brown paper and bring it with you to the Appetizer Potluck (or I can provide a bag for you if needed). This is a fun game and everyone is a winner! The more people that participate, the more fun we have playing the game!


SUNDAY:

Social hour - 5pm This will be held in Club House. Bring your own drinks.

Dinner Potluck - 6pm Hamburgers & Hot Dogs provided by Heartland. Please bring a side dish to share, salad or dessert or surprise us (must be edible). Bring your favorite drink, bottled water will be supplied.
(John & Shirley will be providing each of us a Halloween Commemorative Melamine Dinner plate to keep as a memento)


Prize Raffle - You may donate a gift prize for this raffle drawing (please bring it unwrapped with you to the Dinner, so we can display the items). Raffle tickets will be sold and we will raffle the prizes off after dinner. Money collected will help fund Rally expenses and whats left over will be used to help fund future rallies.

Monday:
Say our good-byes and check-out by 11am

Everything sounds perfect and I thank you for the tremendous amount of work you've done. I've already packed the banner in the trailer so I won't forget it.

Just checking in. I am hoping to arrive on Thursday and I hope that there isn't a problem with parking in the Heartland area. Gotta call them today and make a reservation. I bought some Halloween things while we were in Dillon Beach over the weekend so I am all ready.

I am planning to bring a grape salad for the potluck on Sunday. I can hardly wait. Watch out Jim - I have lots of questions. When I picked up my rig from Affordable RV in Newcastle, I told them about our rally and they indicated that they may stop in and visit on Saturday.
