Jeep with probably True 4x4 with locking differentials? Vs his standard 4 wheel. Not sure the name for it. Limited slip? Or not even that. I bet towing the truck exceeds his GCVR though.

Those would be locking differentials or "Lockers" front and rear.
I think the towing capacity is 3500 pounds

A couple of issues I see with this. Lifted truck, not sure how much difference that makes but I would guess some and I wonder what "tune" he had the truck in. Both my 04 and the current 14 are not tuned and even trying to pull something that won't move, neither would spin the tires like that. This one is pretty much apples and oranges. Oh, and it does not appear the truck was in 4 low. Perhaps but it does not look like it. If it were he would probably blow the transfer case and diff with that kind of throttle work.
