Anyone having these issues? Husband put cylinder back in, and just used dead bolt to lock front door. Do we need new lock? Thanks

I don't know much about this but I do know the lock cylinders can be removed and replaced for rekeying. Why yours fell out - I don't know.

As it will likely cost you some amount of money to repair/replace, now may be the time to consider replacing it with an RVLock.

Sounds like a retainer clip may have come loose from the back side of the cylinder. The clip or retainer is probably at the bottom of the housing. Should be a fairly easy fix. It will cost you a bit if you get a locksmith. You might take out the whole lock from the door and take it to a locksmith shop. Cheaper than having a "house call".

I'd recommend you unlock the lock and get it repaired/replaced/install RVLock before it fails again and either leaves you locked out or locked in. BTW, RVLock 4.0 is a great product.
