On the patio rails there are two grey panels attached to the rails. I have no clue what these could be for. I have tried searching and did not come up with anything.

They go between the rail and the door jam so no little kiddie's can climb through and fall off the deck. If you don't have young children you don't need to put them on.

Mine have been in the beaver tail storage since I got my Cyclone.

They also keep small wiener dogs from falling off.......
