Bighorn - Water Pump Pickup Issue

There are any number of things this could be. Is the problem on city water or on water pump or both. If it is on both there could be a blockage in the line or a kinked line. If your unit is in warranty I would contact a Heartland dealer for repair. The first thing to check though would be the strainer on the outlet at the sink. Sometimes the screen on the strainer will get stopped up with debris and restrict the flow.

This is a common problem...ours turned out to be a valve in the "sprayer" portion of the faucet. It is located at the end of the spray hose where it connects under the sink. It could be either blocked or broken. For us it was broken, we simply removed it and all is fine now. However, with the valve removed you must manually turn the spray function off...it will no longer turn off automatically when the water is turned off.

Water pump in our previous BH 3400RL failed and was replaced with ShurFlo 5.4. Water pressure improved but still not the best. Prior to taking delivery of the new Augusta, we required dealer to upgrade water pump to ShurFlo 5.9. So far, doing well.
