Chlorine on membrane and gelcoat

Hello folks,

I've decided to try and make my Big Country shiny and new looking so I got up on the roof and started scrubbing. I used car wash but couldn't get the mold/growth stains off the membrane so I applied some straight bleach which did the trick. Worried that I might do damage to the rubber membrane and the gelcoat alongside the outer walls, I washed and rinsed the roof and side very well afterwards. So the question is:
Did I just severely shorten the life of my surfaces? Is there another product(s) I could use in the future?

I've always use bleach on my roofs and have never had any problems, other than being blinded from how white it comes out.

And yes, rinse rinse rinse, and you should be fine.
