Cedar Ridge Park

I am a fan of RV parks that have spacious sites, good roads and are have nice scenery. I found such a park on Belton Lake near Temple Texas. It is a Corps of Engineers park that has lots of deer and wild turkeys running around the park. Just a wonderful place to spend several days or several weeks.

We have stayed at Cedar Ridge the last two years for the Fourth of July weekends. It is nice. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommend this one.

Hi All:
If you are traveling on I-79 down through WVa, there aren't many campgrounds. There are some state parks but not many private ones. In Milton WVa, not far from Hunnington, is a nice private one called FOXFIRE campground. We stayed there just for an overnight, instead of Wallyworld. I have been there numerous times, but only passing through.
They have a small lake with a sand beach, Waterslide too. It is very clean and well maintained. All the KOA's are on I-77 in WVa.
