This is my first post to the forum, We purchased our new 2017 Big Country 3659RL in August of 2016 and love it. We have made a few short trips but made our first long distance trip to Yachats Oregon to the Sea Perch RV resort in June and it was a great trip. The BC pulled so much better than the old bumper tow. I would love to post some pictures but cant figure out how to, as soon as i figure it out I will post some.

Congratulations on your new baby. We have had 2 different Big Countrys over the years, having one for 5 years. Enjoy and travel safely.

Welcome and congratulations on the new Big Country. As far as posting pictures, you have to make a few more posts before the forum will let you post them.

If you haven't heard of it yet, the Heartland Owners Club is a great group of folks and we are having rallies in your area in September and October. We have the Pacific Region Rally in Seven Feathers September 13th-20th in Canyonville Oregon at the Seven Feathers RV Resort, and the week before that is the Washington Chapter Rally at the Silvercove RV Resort in Silver Lake Washington (by Mount Saint Helens). Then there is the Northern California Rally at Jackson Rancheria RV Resort in Jackson California 2 weeks after the Pacific Region Rally at Seven Feathers RV Resort. Then in October on the 19th - 22nd there is the Nevada South chapter rally in Pahrump Nevada at the Lakeside Casino and RV Park, and then the following weekend is the California South Rally at the Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula California. Please consider joining the club and bringing that new Big Country to a rally or two and show it off. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I hope this works. Here's a couple pictures of our site from our trip to Yachats Oregon. The Sea Perch RV Resort was such a beautiful place, we backed in and could see the ocean out the back window and could hear the sound of the waves all night.

Lol... it is beautiful there for sure.

We live down the road in Florence, yet go to Orange Grove RV Park outside Bakersfield couple times a year.

Just joined the forum and this is my 1st post. Almost ready to plop down a check for a BC 3150RL and the comments on the forum are helping me make the decision, so soon I may be a "New Big Country Owner" too. We need to go shopping one more time tomorrow and should have our minds made up by the end of the day.

Hi Lloydg,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. One of the great things that you've probably noticed is that there's always a bunch of friendly and helpful people around who are quick to share what they've learned.

Well, I said yesterday that I was ready to plop down a check for a new Big Country 3150RL, and I'm thrilled to say I did. It was neck and neck with a Cedar Creek and the BC won out by a nose. I'll pick it up in a week, trade in my Surveyor, and happily head back to our RV lot in Traverse City, Michigan.

LLoydg,

Welcome to the Forum and hopefully one day soon to the Heartland Owners Club (HOC). When you do purchase the Big Country, make sure you join the HOC and bring that beautiful new rig to a rally or two to show it off.

SHHHhhhhhhhhh......stop spreading all the rumors on how great Oregon is. We all know you used Photoshop to make those images. LOL. ;)

...no really, great pictures. We've never been to that location , but I hear great things about it and the area.

Congrats on the new BC !!!! Have to say that it seems tho most folks looking to upgrade to a new 5er have LM/BH/BC as well as Cedar Creek on their lists (us incl--considered another Creek)) and not much mention of other brands. Guess that speaks pretty loud for these 4.

Welcome and congrats on the new BC. We're fairly new as well having become full timers and Landmark owners in March. We're currently in Cape Cod, heading back West in a few weeks to Yellowstone and then the Sacramento area in October for the winter!
