ATF: Bighorn - 2012 3070 Bedroom AC wiring

We are thoroughly enjoying the Bighorn 3070 that we recently purchased. We have realized that we need a 2nd AC in the bedroom. I understand that this unit is pre-wired to add a 2nd AC.

Does this wiring include a Thermostat wire? If so where on the wall do the wires terminate to place the thermostat?

You can check with customer service, but I do not think the wire is there. You may be able to fish a wire in the attic or use surface wire moulding ( Home Depot ).

Most add on A/C units are not ducted and have controls on the unit it self ( off-on, fan speed, and thermostat).

Glenn, when we added a second a/c to our 2011 RoadWarrior, the controls were right on the face of the unit. This was a non-ducted unit and was self-contained and didn't have a separate thermostat.

I had the same issue when I added a second A/C in the bedroom of my 2015 BH 3570RS
All the wiring for the A/C and thermastat was located at the vent hole
Thermastat wire was located in the left corner wall of the front closet
Was able to get all the information from Heartland and Dometic I needed to hook it up
