Hi actionking,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

The 3rd party website specs I've seen on the Resort 40 FE show holding tanks. And the Heartland site shows newer floor plans in the Resort lineup having holding tanks.

How did you determine there are no holding tanks on yours?

Are you the first owner? If not, as this is a Destination Trailer, perhaps a previous owner removed them.

Not sure how you've determined there are no holding tanks.

On Monday, call Heartland Customer Service at 877-262-8032 / 574-262-8030. Have your VIN # ready. They can tell you whether your trailer came with holding tanks.

According to HL website, it has a 41 gallon fresh water, 111 gallon gray water and a 37 gallon black tank. Get out and look around the frame for pull handles. They may be inside the frame rail accessed via a hole in the frame.

This is why most recommend doing a thorough PDI before leaving the dealer, even if they transport it to your site for you.
