ATF: Bighorn - Wax

Just wondering if our bighorn 2017 3270 rs fifthwheel.. has any wax on it from the factory. I was wanting to wax it with zep wax but the directions on it says if you have any old wax on it that you need to strip it first.... So... dose these rigs come from the factory with any wax on them? And by the way... what do you think of waxing them with zep floor wax?

Not sure if they come with wax, but I use F11 from top coat on mine, easy on/off, great shine.

Also not sure, but I use Rejex wax and it works very well.

Forget the wax, use Rejex.... why.... check out www.rejex.com. I used it on our 2012... shine and protection was always better than new...

I would call the brand manager at HL and ask him. I don't think they do but I would ask and also check with the dealer so see if he did anything.

You need to wash it before waxing it anyway so use Dawn and that will strip wax (if any) so that you can Rejex it. Rejex instructions recommend washing with Dawn to strip prior to applying anyway.

And as to why you need to wash-there is a certain amount of grit and grime no matter where it was stored before. Leaving that on and putting on protection can dull the clear coat.
