SOLVED: AC fan comes on during furnace operation

We have a 2016 Elkridge. The unit has front and rear AC units. When I use the furnace, the Fan for the AC unit comes on. I tried the front unit with the same results.

The volume of warm air coming from the three floor vents seems to be minimal. Does the AC unit act as heat pump, by any chance?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: ElkRidge - Furnace and AC Fan Operation

Hi driscrob1,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

On each thermostat, change the mode to FAN and set the fan to AUTO rather than Hi or Low. Then change the mode back to heat and the furnace should run without starting the A/C blower.

Thanks for the tip. It worked like a charm!
