Tow Vehicle for Oshkosh

We're impressed with the Landmark Oshkosh 5th wheel. Would single axle work and be safe? Currently have a 2011 F-350 single axle, crew cab, 355 rear end, diesel, 20 inch tires and tow a fifth wheel with a dry weight of 12k pounds. Key weight consideration is the pin weight, and the Oshkosh looks a little heavy in that department along with a dry weight of 14750 pounds.

Thanks for any responses.

I would do all the math, use the 5th wheel Street app to see where you are at. I think you will find that your current truck will be overloaded.
Our Landmark Charleston is only about 2k heavier, dry, and we had to upgrade to a dually with a lower axle ratio.

HERE is the link to the Fifth Wheel Safe Tow website. Use the loaded weight, ready to go, if known. If not known, use the tow rating for the trailer (18,000 lbs.). We're using a 2010 Ram 3500 DRW and it tows like a dream.

Thanks for all the information. After reviewing the specs and the websites on safe towing, I'll opt for a lighter trailer.
