Bathroom GFI tripped

Tried to use the island outlets yesterday and the island outlets are not working. The GFI in the bathroom was tripped and will not reset.
We have been parked for 4 months and everything has worked fine until now.
Replaced the GFI thinking it was bad. New GFI will not reset. Load wires to load terminal, line wires to line terminal, Disconnected load wire and GFI will reset so the bathroom outlet is usable anyway.
Inspected the island outlets and everything looks OK, The outdoor outlooks look OK, So, how does one troubleshoot the downstream outlets if you can't get power to the system? I have spent hours on this since yesterday and no luck.

Suggestions please on the next step.

Bill,

I would probably start disconnecting the hot wires from outlets one at a time to see if it allows the GFCI to reset. The GFCI protects any outlet that might be exposed to water. Don't overlook the UDC outlet and any outlets under kitchen counters.

Well....a friend stopped by, we reconnected the load wire and everything works just fine, go figure. I guess he had the magic touch.
Thanks for the suggestion Dan.
