Gray tanks

Have torque t285. We have 60 gallons of gray and thought it was split into two 30 gallon tanks, we investigated and it looks like the kitchen sink and shower go to the same tank and bathroom sink is on its own. Still looking into this, but does anyone know if they overflow the two tanks into each other? Or are they not a split 30/30, perhaps one of the tanks is larger than the other? If not this stinks that the kitchen sink and shower are in the same one.

A call to Heartland Customer Service will probably answer your questions. Usually, though, they are two separate tanks and not connected. Sometimes the bath sink and clothes washer lines are on one and the shower and kitchen sink on anther due to the volume issues with the shower and washer.

How many sewer pipes do you have coming out from under the coach, 2? Do they both have grey handles?

We have two, one has only a gray handle and the other has black and gray

If you call heartland and have your serial number handy, they will be able to answer your question. I had to do this to verify the size of my second black tank...

ok we have the same unit. We also learned the tanks are separate and NOT connected. We filled the gray tank for the shower and it did not overflow into the other 30 gal tank for the kitchen sink. I believe the Bathroom has its own tank and the kitchen has its own. 30 gallon fills up fast from he shower!
