Site 61 for the Lafkos with 2 kids. Very excited. Hopefully they will give a discount on the arm bands. Great campground we use it every year.

Unfortunately, it's peak camping season so we were not able to negotiate any discounts. I'll add you to the list!

Additional Info:
------------------------------
Buttonwood Campground is located along the Juniata River in Central PA. There are lots of things for children and adults to do in the campground itself as well as local attractions including canoeing and rafting on the river. The campground is about and hour from Penn State and Raystown Lake. Port Royal Speedway is just down the road and the campground offers free shuttle service to the races. On site, there is bingo every night during the season as well as a Winery offering wine slushies! There are plenty of activities for children too including miniature golf, hayrides, horseshoes, jumping pillow, laser tag and more! Pets are welcome and owners must follow the rules as listed in the policy. There is no breed restriction. We will have a tent/pavillion for our activities. Most of the sites in our area are very level and large. We have reserved sites in the upper area of the campground. Site numbers are 55-61, 62-64, 65-88 and 129-134. When calling the campground, reference PAHOC. They will tell you which ones are available if the one you select is already reserved. Since this is during the season, there is no discount on the site fees but we are still working on coupons with the campground management. Stay tuned for any updates. We will post an agenda as soon as it's finalized.

We are kicking around a potluck on Saturday afternoon around 2-3PM in case anyone wants to attend the races Saturday evening. We would like to hear from you if you think that's a good idea!

Please indicate on this thread your arrival and departure date, HOC# and your site number.

Wendy & Kevin, so glad you can join this crazy group. It’s going to be a great time. Have you ever been to Buttonwood before? The rally sites are in the upper section. Very nice sites. We were up once and it looked like a nice area.

Can’t wait for spring!!

We still have sites available for the PA Rally at Buttonwood Campground Aug 16-18. The cut off date is April 1. You may be able to reserve a site after that date but there are no guarantees you can be close to the main group. It’s a great campground with lots of activities for everyone. Book your site soon!

We only have a few weeks to go until the sites return to the campground. If you haven't signed up for the rally yet, now is the time! It will be loads of fun and wine slushies! Deadline to get a site near the group is April 1.

In honor of World Down Syndrome Day 2019, Dale and I are pleased to announce our Heartland Gives Back choice for the August PA Rally at Buttonwood Campground, Gigi’s Playhouse. Their purpose is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all. They offer free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community, through a replicable playhouse model. We are very familiar with all the time and effort it takes to raise a special child with Down Syndrome. Our niece’s youngest child, Ally, was born with Down Syndrome almost six years ago. Check our their website for more information.

REMINDER: Sites return to the campground on APRIL 1. Get your reservation in if you haven’t already done so and don’t forget to let me know your site number and length of stay.

HAPPY CAMPING!!!
